The rescue efforts on the earthquake-stricken island of Java in Indonesia are in full swing and still, on the third day after the earthquake, they manage to find people alive under collapsed houses. The local fire department in Cianjur filmed when they managed to save an apparently unharmed five-year-old.
It has been two days since the great earthquake on Java in Indonesia and the joy is great when you still manage to find someone alive under the rubble. Five-year-old Azka was still conscious when he was pulled to safety. He is now being cared for in a tent hospital where his cousin watches over him.
Around 40 people are still missing in the city of Cianjur after Monday’s earthquake in Indonesia’s most populous province. In the earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.6, more than 270 people have lost their lives, many of them children, and more than 1,000 have been injured. There were more people in the house where Azka was found, but not all of them made it.
