The boy who walked through the ice on Tjärnasjön in Borlänge on Sunday has died of his injuries, according to Borlänge Tidning.
– It is tragic, says the police spokesperson to the newspaper.
Last Sunday, the alarm came that a child had gone through the ice on Tjärnasjön in Borlänge. The accident must have happened when the boy, together with his father and another child, were out on the ice. The boy, who was five years old, was seriously injured and was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Borlänge Newspaper stated on Thursday that the boy had died and that it must have happened earlier this week.
– It is tragic. All relatives have been informed, says Mats Öhman, the police’s press spokesperson to the newspaper.
