All of the injured, two women and three children – the youngest three years old – have minor smoke and burn injuries, according to Morten Gunneng, officer on duty at the police in the West region.
“Everything indicates that it is a LPG bottle that has exploded for some reason,” he says.
The alarm about the fire came at half past nine on Saturday evening. The emergency services rushed out and got the fire under control. Two mobile homes were completely destroyed and a third was damaged in the fire.
The place is cordoned off and the police have started a preliminary investigation into public negligence.
