Matthew Perry, mainly known from the comedy series “Friends”, was found dead in his home in Los Angeles in October 2023.
Coroners determined that the cause of death was an overdose of ketamine, a drug used for, among other things, anesthesia.
Five people are now charged with involvement in his death. It’s Matthew Perry’s assistant, two doctors, a friend and a plumber. Two of them have been detained.

According to prosecutor Martin Estrada, they collaborated to supply Perry with large quantities of drugs and speculated in encrypted chat messages about how much the star “would be willing to pay.”
One of the doctors allegedly gave Matthew Perry injections at Perry’s home and falsified documents about an ongoing treatment for depression.
