It was shortly before 11pm on New Year’s Eve that the police were alerted to a shooting at Rosengård. Two 15-year-old boys were taken to hospital with serious injuries. According to the police, it must have happened in a stairwell.
Already during New Year’s Day, several people were detained, but the police could not confirm how many it concerned.
Five young men arrested
During Thursday, the chief prosecutor Caroline Carlquist confirmed that five men and boys aged 15-20 have been detained and are now arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
– As always in these situations, the number of people arrested is very fluid. But at the moment there are five people who are deprived of their liberty in this case, says Caroline Carlquist.
