First trailer with Timothee Chalamet mixes cannibalism with romance

With the queer romance film Call Me by Your Name, Luca Guadagnino has a touching masterpiece and probably created the best film of 2018. Four years later, he returns with Timothée Chalamet, who finally became a world star in 2021 when he starred in Dune.

Bones and All promises a real film highlight of the year

Bones and All is based on the novel by Camille DeAngelis and is about 16-year-old Maren (Taylor Russell). The main character is on a road trip across the United States in search of her father, who as a cannibal several people on their conscience and learned his daughter’s murderous lifestyle. On her journey, she falls in love with Lee, played by Timotheé Chalamet.

The first scenes in the teaser for Bones and All come in the director’s typical style and announce another work full of great feelings after Call Me by Your Name. The horror aspect of the story is only hinted at at first. With his fantastic new edition of Suspiria, Luca Guadagnino recently proved that he too very disturbing genre images can succeed.

Bones and All has no German theatrical release yet and celebrates its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, which starts on August 31st. Moviepilot will also be there and will definitely give you a first impression of the film.
