The first trailer and poster of the movie Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, starring Jason Momoa, has been released.

Black Manta, who failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, will stop at nothing to defeat Aquaman once and for all with his desire to avenge his father. This time, Black Manta is a tougher enemy than ever; In his hand is the legendary Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent power.

To defeat this powerful foe, Aquaman chooses to form an unlikely alliance with his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis. To protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family and the world from irreversible destruction, the two half-brothers will have to put their differences aside.

All leading actors from the original film’s cast reprise their roles: Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, now balancing his duties as both the King of Atlantis and a new father; Patrick Wilson as Orm, Aquaman’s half-brother and enemy but now forced to take on a new mission as his reluctant ally; Amber Heard as Mera, Queen of Atlantis and mother of the heir to the throne; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, more determined than ever to destroy Aquaman, his family, and Atlantis and avenge his father; and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, the fierce leader and mother with the heart of a warrior. Also starring Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus and Dr. Randall Park, who stars as Stephen Shin, also reprises his supporting roles.

The story of the film, based on DC characters and Aquaman created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, was written by James Wan, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, Jason Momoa and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett, and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick wrote the screenplay.

Wan’s successful behind-the-scenes creative team consists of the master artists from the first film: Don Burgess (“The Conjuring 2”) in cinematography, Bill Brzeski (“Jumanji: The Next Level”) in production design, Kirk Morri (“Furious 7”) in editing and Richard Sale (“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” “Ready Player One”) on costume design. Rupert Gregson-Williams (“Wonder Woman”) composed the film’s score. The music supervisor for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” was Michelle Silverman (“Malignant”), and the visual effects supervisor was Nick Davis (“The Clash of the Titans” movies, “The Dark Knight”).
