When Rob Zombie is making a film, you’re usually allowed to extremely disturbing images set to. From House of 1000 Corpses to The Lords of Salem and its Halloween remake, these horror adventures are not for the faint of heart. His latest film, on the other hand, chooses a completely different path.
With The Munsters, Zombie once again devotes itself to the reinterpretation of familiar material after Halloween. This time, however, he’s not relying on fear and loathing. Instead of this dominates plenty of slapstick the first long trailer for the reboot of the series of the same name from the 1960s. That too can be disturbing.
