What is Amazon Prime Video’s horror series Swarm of Bees about?

#Swarm is the fans’ name of a pop star on the series that resembles Beyoncé, and young Dre (Judas and the Black Messiah’s Dominique Fishback) is one of the most fervent admirers in the crush. In the series, Dre embarks on a journey across the United States because of her obsession, with obviously bloody consequences.

The series was created by Janine Nabers (Unreal, Watchmen) and Donald Glover (Atlanta). Former community star Glover will also direct the first episode.

The cast of the Amazon series includes leading actress Dominique Fishback, Chloe Bailey (Grown-ish), Damson Idris (Snowfall), Rory Culkin (Signs) and Kiersey Clemons (Zack Snyder’s Justice League).

Swarm of bees is coming March 17, 2023 to Amazon Prime Video*. If you are still wondering despite the plot description: No, this swarm has nothing to do with the Frank Schätzing adaptation The Swarm.
