Utrecht – Zonneveld Meijewetering, the first solar field in the municipality of Utrecht, has been opened. The field is located near the sewage treatment plant in the Leidsche Rijn district of Utrecht. Alderman Lot van Hooijdonk (climate and energy), deputy Huib van Essen (spatial planning, climate and energy) and water council Nanda van Zoelen (climate adaptation) and the residents involved attended the opening.
