First Smile 2 trailer looks like a Taylor Swift documentary

With a grotesquely wide smile on his face, a new cult genre trademark was born thanks to the horror hit Smile. Director Parker Finn’s film grossed over $217 million worldwide in 2022 on a budget of $17 million, making it a surprise hit.

In April 2023, it was announced that there would be a sequel. Smile 2: Do you see it too? will be released in October and the first trailer Get ready for the next chapter of smiling horror.

What is Smile 2 about?

In the story of the sequel, Naomi Scott (Aladdin) plays international pop star Skye Riley, who is plagued by disturbing events before the start of her new tour.

Anyone who has seen the first part should already know what is behind the Grinning incidents including gruesome deaths that the singer is confronted with. With the pop star as the protagonist, Smile 2 could easily pass as a Taylor Swift or Lady Gaga documentary with a supernatural horror twist.

When will the horror sequel Smile 2 be released in cinemas?

From the October 17, 2024 you can get scared again in the cinema. Shortly before Halloween, the sequel will be shown on the big screen.
