Donald Trump would most likely win the presidential election against Joe Biden, and the win could be crushingly large.
This is stated by Michael Bennet, Democratic Senator from Colorado, in an interview with CNN on Tuesday evening.
– I haven’t seen anything that even comes close to the kind of plan we need from the White House that can show how he (Biden) can actually beat Trump, says Bennet.
Bennet thus becomes the first Democratic senator to publicly express his skepticism that the incumbent president would win against his presumptive challenger.
Democrats are split on support for Joe Biden after his disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump on June 27. In the past, several Democrats in the House of Representatives have called for him to step aside, while others have expressed their support for him.
Biden himself has rejected all resignation demands and announced that he still sees himself as the most qualified candidate to take on Trump in November.
