First part of the horror series with the most original ways of death, which is finally being continued after 11 years

First part of the horror series with the most original
Final Destination was a breath of fresh air. The outdated ambitions of crossover films like Freddy vs. Jason clearly clouded the horror output in cinemas in the early 2000s. But the film about surviving death incarnate gained a large cult following almost immediately and deservedly so. It’s on TV today. On TV: Horror cracker Final Destination will soon be continued with part 6

The first part of the five-part series revolves around Alex Browning (Devon Sawa), who was actually supposed to be on the plane to France for his class trip. After a horror vision, he and a few fellow passengers leave the machine and have to watch as it explodes shortly after launch. The fact that he was apparently able to foresee and prevent his own death is of little use to Alex. The Grim Reaper doesn’t want to be cheated of Alex’s soul and continues to seek his life.

The final destination concept is thus celebrating its hour of birth. An invisible force now triggers ingenious chains of events that are ultimately intended to lead to the grotesque death of the victim. For example, Alex’s friend Death (Chad E. Donella) slips in a puddle and is strangled by the hanging of his shower curtain.

The series repeated the formula for success up to Final Destination 5 from 2011, after the franchise suddenly became very quiet. This recently changed: The horror sequel Final Destination 6 is coming and wants to do everything differently.
