the two main cast members of the Panem prehistory are already certain. While newcomer Tom Blyth slips into the role of Coriolanus Snow, West Side Story star Rachel Zegler takes on the part of Lucy Gray Baird. Baird is selected as a District 12 tribute at the tenth Hunger Games.
When does the Panem story start in cinemas?
Like the previous films, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is based on a book by Suzanne Collins and is being directed by Francis Lawrence. The prequel was released in book form in May 2020. The filming starts on November 17, 2023 in the cinemas.
