How and why did Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) end up in France of all places? That remains a mystery for the time being. After years of exploring the forests of Virginia, he now faces a journey across France that will take him from the south of France to the collapsed Eiffel Tower in Paris.
In the process, Darly meets new allies, such as the Frenchwoman Isabelle (Harry Potter star Clémence Poésy), who lives as a nun in a post-apocalyptic religious community in a monastery. Together with Daryl she will travel to Paris, where they will not only fight the undead under the Eiffel Tower, but also the mighty ones Black market trader and nightclub owner (!) Quinn (Adam Nagaitis).
As Darly grapples with language barriers, nuns and French undead in his spin-off series, another The Walking Dead icon is already on the horizon.
Set pictures already revealed that also Daryl’s better half Carol (Melissa McBride) will travel to France. Unfortunately, it is not yet known whether we will see the reunion in Season 1 or only in Season 2, which has already been partially shot.
When does The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon start in Germany?
The first season of Daryl Dixon starts in the USA on September 10, 2023 at AMC. A total of six episodes will be published there weekly. German The Walking Dead fans have to be patient a little longer.
In Germany, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will be shown on MagentaTV at the end of 2023. There is no concrete start date yet. But first, fans can look forward to the German launch of the Maggie Negan series The Walking Dead: Dead City in October.
