After Marvel’s Daredevil, Disney+ brings the red devil from Hell’s Kitchen to life Daredevil: Born Again new life. After the Marvel series pulled the emergency brake in the wake of the Hollywood strike in order to completely change the Daredevil rebirth, filming has now begun with the defensive blind lawyer Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox). The photographed reunion with Jon Bernthal’s character Frank Castle, better known as Marvel’s The Punisher, is particularly exciting.
Reunited in battle after 8 years: Daredevil and Punisher appear together
After a set video captured the Daredevil reunion of Matt, Foggy and Karen and Jon Bernthal was photographed looking battered as the Punisher during the Daredevil filming, onlookers at the filming are now showing the next big reunion: Daredevil and the Punisher side by side. The last time Jon Bernthal and Charlie Cox were in front of the camera together was for the season 2 finale of Daredevil, which was released on Netflix in March 2016. Eight years later, we can see the initially hostile allies meeting again in set photos:

In addition, the two New York Marvel Avengers have already become in (mysterious) action on the Daredevil set photographed. What exactly they are doing there can only be speculated about. They approach an unknown destination with their ears covered. Perhaps their enemies are using loud or high-frequency noises to incapacitate Matt Murdock, who relies on his hearing?

The answer to this question could be the new one Anti-Vigilante Task Force of “Mayor Fisk” (aka Kingpin Vincent D’Onofrio), who was also photographed with her emblem during the Daredevil shoot. Rumor has it that the villain wants to use this armed unit to clear the streets of masked vigilantes like Daredevil, Spider-Man and Kate Bishop.

When does the new Marvel series Daredevil: Born again start?
A specific start date for the new series Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ is currently not known. The originally planned start for 2024 will most likely no longer be adhered to with the general overhaul of the series, which is why we probably not until 2025 can expect the Daredevil and Punisher reunion of Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal.
According to Deadline, the ordered 18 episodes of the new Daredevil series will be two seasons act, so probably 9 episodes per season.
All 3 previous seasons of Daredevil and the 2nd season of The Punisher are currently streaming on Disney+ *.
