“We are very happy with the ban, we have never had as many orders as now,” says fireworks giant Coen van der Wind from Utrecht. “The turnover is already twice as high as normal, it is not normal.” Van der Wind had expected that people would continue to buy fireworks, despite the ban. But he did not expect his income to increase. “Then the billboards still have to come, I am very curious to see what will happen.”
