While Los Angeles has experienced a slight lull, the second city in the United States now fears the arrival, Tuesday, January 14, of hot and powerful winds that could further fuel the fires that have been ravaging it for a week. While at least 24 people have died, the fires have left thousands of families homeless, at the mercy of an already saturated real estate market and skyrocketing prices. A situation that the authorities deplore and are struggling to contain.
