According to the company, the employee, who worked at one of Ica’s warehouses in Västerås, tested positive on a random drug test that Ica regularly conducts.
But according to the Union, the drug test was not carried out in a legally secure manner because the test was carried out with a saliva sample and not a blood or urine sample.
The employee himself believes that he did not use drugs.
The union demands damages of SEK 190,000 in salary from the day the man was fired.
