This so-called pseudo-purchase eventually led the police to the three suspects. According to the Public Prosecution Service, they were involved in the trade in all kinds of weapons. During a search of a house in Utrecht, two more automatic firearms, with accompanying ammunition, sixteen pepper sprays, ten tasers, four brass knuckles, a stiletto, a blackjack, a drop knife and three skinning knives were found.
