Several people have alerted the emergency services about a fire in the Örby district in Stockholm on Sunday morning. According to the emergency services, a three-storey house on Stigtomtavägen 3, which is being renovated, has started to burn.
– Many people in the area have called and we are on the scene, says Marie Nordahl, line operator at Greater Stockholm’s fire service.
According to the emergency services, it is a fully developed fire, and the entire building is said to be filled with smoke.
– But according to information, there are no people living in the house, says Marie Nordahl.
It is currently unclear what started the fire, and whether there is any risk of it spreading.
