67 passengers were evacuated when a fire broke out on a boat in Gothenburg’s archipelago. A major rescue effort was launched, but no one is said to have been physically injured.
The Maritime and Air Rescue Center (JRCC) at the Swedish Maritime Administration sent several resources to the scene, including a helicopter, when the boat caught fire. On board were 67 passengers and seven crew members.
It is unclear how the fire started, but there are no reports that anyone was injured in the incident. The passengers are brought into port by another boat.
