A villa in Älvsjö has been completely destroyed after a violent fire.
One person has been taken to hospital with unclear injuries.
– Flames shot out of the window, says commanding officer Tobias Åkesson.
At 9:30 p.m., an alarm was received about a fire in a villa in Älvsjö in Stockholm municipality.
The emergency services sent a large number of resources to the scene.
– It’s not completely burnt out, but flames shot out of the window when we got there, said commanding officer Tobias Åkesson initially.
One person has been taken to hospital. The emergency services do not suspect that several people were in the home.
By 22.30 the house was beyond saving.
– It will probably be allowed to burn down under the supervision of experts, says Kurt Johnsson, at Rädningstjänsten Mitt.
