  • Missing man found dead

    The 75-year-old man who had gone missing in Hudiksvall has been found dead, the police write on their website.

    “Be aware that trees and other objects can fall/come flying. There is also poor visibility on some roads due to heavy rain,” the police write on their website.

  • Four cars in a collision on the E6

    Four passenger cars have been involved in a traffic accident on the E6 outside Helsingborg, at the height of Gantofta.

    – We just arrived at the site and it is very quiet at the site. Everyone is out of the cars, says the officer on duty at the rescue service.

    According to the Swedish Transport Administration, the road has been closed with a very large impact on traffic. There is currently no forecast for when it will reopen.

    Good question Bengt! And it’s probably not something I can answer, but a big difference between Sweden and the USA is that election day here is always a holiday, which at least makes it possible for more people to vote without having to take time off (if you don’t vote early then).
