The alarm about the fire came in after four o’clock on Tuesday morning. According to the rescue service Dala Mitt, there is a fire in the attic of the main building, which contains both the restaurant, spa and reception.
SOS states that there are seven emergency services units on site and two ambulances, but no one has been found injured so far. Dala Mitt has searched the building and confirms the situation.
The cause of the fire or where the fire may have started is still unclear.
– It was a very strong fire when we got it. We have ensured that no one is in the building and are now trying to extinguish the fire. It is an extremely difficult situation considering that there is a fire in the attic of such a large building, says Per Palm, emergency manager at the Dala Mitt rescue service.
