A resident of the farm on the Achtersloot, who helped put out the fire before the fire brigade arrived, was injured while trying to fight the flames. He was taken to hospital, a spokesperson for the Utrecht Security Region said. Nothing is known about the nature of his injuries, but he was approachable.
