Fire in terraced house in Ystad

There is a fire in a row of terraced houses in Sövestad in Ystad.
According to the emergency services, there is a fully developed fire in one of the houses in the long house, and there is a risk that the fire will spread to the other homes.
– We have several stations on site to put out the fire, says Mattias Sköld, officer on duty at South Eastern Scania’s Rescue Service Association.

It was at eight o’clock on Sunday morning that the emergency services, police and ambulance were alerted to the fire.

– One of the homes has caught fire, it is a fully developed fire, says Mattias Sköld, who further states that they do not yet have control over the fire and that they will be on site for a number of hours ahead.

All are said to be out of luck

According to the emergency services, all people who were inside the row of townhouses should be outside. No one is said to have been injured in connection with the fire.

It is currently unknown what caused the fire, but according to the police, there is smoke coming from the roof throughout.

According to the emergency services on site, the length consists of a total of eight terraced houses, with the residence in the middle on fire. At the moment, four townhouses are intact, to which they are trying to prevent the fire from spreading.
