Police and emergency services have been alerted to a fire in a block of terraced houses in the Kälvesta district in western Stockholm. An electric car must be behind the origin of the fire.
– There are five houses that sit together in a row with garages in between. Three of the houses are beyond saving. There is a pub nearby to which the fire risks spreading, says Therese Blades, management operator at the rescue service.
According to the rescue service, five stations are on site to try to save what is left of the longing.
– We haven’t been there that long, but we have a lot of resources in place, says Therese Blades.
Evacuation is underway and the site is cordoned off. There are no reports of personal injuries.
