Just before 07:00, the Rescue Service was called to the terraced house area in Tumba.
– Since then we have tried to put it out, but the fire has spread to the entire roof and attic, says Pontus Olsson, press officer of the Rescue Center East.
The rescue service is on site with 15 units and expects the work to take the whole day.
Construction makes extinguishing work more difficult
No one should be injured and the residents have been evacuated.
– How it goes forward depends on the construction of the building, if spreading will take place. We can ascertain that there is a low wind so it is not possible to go in and put out the fire, says Pontus Olsson, press officer at the Rescue Center East.
