The alarm about the fire came at 05.20 on Saturday morning. Emergency services and police were sent to the scene. According to the emergency services, it must be an old treatment plant.
– The building is completely burnt down when we arrive at the scene and we do not do active extinguishing, but work to block it off, says Christer Larsson, officer on duty at Södra Älvsborg’s rescue service association.
Shortly after 07:00, the emergency services had left the scene and handed over to the municipality’s representatives.
According to the police, there should not have been any animals or people in the treatment plant. No ambulance should have been sent to the scene.
