Fire in former beauty clinic

The emergency services were alerted to the smell of smoke, but did not find any fire until after a tour of the area.

– There is a fire in a defunct beauty clinic, says commanding officer Christer Wahlström.

A fire broke out during the night to Monday between Sollentuna and Rotebro, north of Stockholm.

The first alarm came at 00:36.

– People called in about the smell of smoke in the area. We didn’t find anything at first but as we drove around we discovered this fire. It was fully developed, says Christer Wahlström.

The building is estimated to be just under 200 square meters in size and is a former beauty clinic.

There is no risk of spread. About 30 firefighters participate in the operation.

– After it is a water protection area, we will use as little water as possible.

There are no reports of personal injuries.
