The alarm about the fire came at 02.47 on the night of Saturday. A fire had broken out on the fifth floor of an apartment building in Alby in Botkyrka.
According to early information from the scene, five people have had to be taken to hospital. There is currently no information on the extent of the damage.
The rescue service states that personnel from three stations are on site and that the fire is out.
