A preschool in Bandhagen started burning during the night towards Sunday. The emergency services were alerted at 01:38 by a passerby and are on the scene with around twenty firefighters.
– It is a fully developed fire through the roof. The building will not be salvageable, says Lena Hoffman, management operator at the rescue service.
The smoke is spread north by the wind and is noticeable in large parts of southern Stockholm.
– We have received several calls from Årsta, Johanneshov and Hammarbyhöjden, says Lena Hoffman.
