A fire has broken out in an apartment building in central Sundsvall.
The alarm came in at 2:09 p.m. The emergency services state that a fire has started in an apartment.
– There has been smoke spreading to the stairwell, says Fredrik Lindqvist, officer on duty.
The apartments in the building have been evacuated and smoke detectors are working to search the property. Two people have been taken to hospital, SOS Alarm tells TT.
According to the fire service, the fire is under control.
– Spontaneously, it feels that way. There is nothing at the moment that says otherwise, but we are working hard to prevent the fire from spreading, says Fredrik Lindqvist.
