There is a heavy fire in an apartment building on Värmdö outside Stockholm.
A major effort is underway.

The fire is believed to have started in an apartment and then spread to the attic. The alarm came at 06:39.

The fire is not under control at 07.45.
– We are fighting to prevent spread to the rest of the property and above all the wind.
All residents of the property must have vacated. According to the police, one person has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
There is currently no forecast for when the fire may be out.
– It depends entirely on how it spreads, says Jarmo Carlsten.
