Fire in apartment building in Vimmerby

There is a fire in an apartment building in Vimmerby.
The alarm came in to the emergency services at 05.51.
– There is a fire in an apartment on the second floor, an ambulance and the police are also on the scene, says the management operator of the rescue service.

It is unclear if anyone was in the apartment when the fire started, so far no one has been taken to hospital.

According to the emergency services, there is no risk of spread to other apartments at the moment.
