Fire in a nature reserve in Gothenburg
There is a fire in the terrain on Delsjönäset in Gothenburg. The emergency services moved out at 1 pm on Sunday with extensive resources. It is uncertain how big the fire is.
— We are on site right now and trying to call in the fire. But we don’t know how extensive it is yet, says Christer Dyrfelt, alarm and line operator at Rädningstjänsten Gothenburg.
According to information from the initial stage of the extinguishing work, the fire is about 30 by 300 meters. There is no forecast for when the fire may be out.
– There are no buildings in the area, but the smoke can be seen from afar and we have received many calls about it, says Christer Dyrfelt.
