A fire broke out in an industrial premises on Ringön in Gothenburg and the emergency services were called there at around 11.20 pm on Tuesday evening, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
It was a fully developed fire in an industrial premises where there was, among other things, a tire and car workshop. The police and ambulance were also on the scene.
At around 02.30, on the night of Wednesday, the fire was extinguished.
– At three o’clock we went down so that we only had one unit left and by 9 o’clock the case should be completely finished, says Betina Svensson, alarm and line operator at the rescue service to TT.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into arson and will cordon off the scene of the fire on Wednesday to carry out a technical investigation.
