The fire started last night in a garbage container in the alley between the farm and the adjacent Loetje restaurant. The building has been largely preserved, but it is still unclear when the residents will be able to return. The house has extensive smoke and water damage. The fifteen residents of the Amerpoort residential group were evacuated last night and taken to a day care facility in Vinkeveen.
