Every Monday, the SELL gratifies us with the best sales that have been recorded in the past weeks, due to the shift in figures. Today, we look at the results of Week 4, namely those that were counted between January 23 and 29, 2023. And against all odds, it is the game Forspoken from Square Enix which takes the lead in this Top 5, despite the very lukewarm reception from the press and players, who found the game generic, uninviting and a bit boring too. Just behind, Dead Space Remake is positioned in second place, which sold half as well as The Callisto Protocol on the British market. Kratos, on the other hand, has nothing to fear, it remains in a good place, third this week, and continues to establish itself as a long-seller on PS5. Another title from PlayStations Studios also proves that it appeals to French players, it is Gran Turismo 7 which ranks in 4th position, ahead of Fire Emblem Engage which has made a nice fall compared to last week when it was Top 1.
If we dwell on the Top 3 PC games, we see a rise of Battlefield 2042 which takes the lead in the ranking, no doubt thanks to recent updates which improve the experience a little more each time. On the other hand, Farming Simulator 22 does not flinch and clings to its eternal second place, while Minecraft Java & Medrock makes a resounding comeback by settling in third place.
