According to the news of NDTV channel, a fire broke out in the amusement park in Rajkot city in the evening. Authorities announced that 27 people, including 9 children, died in the fire, the cause of which has not yet been determined.
While it was stated that there may be more casualties, it was reported that rescue efforts were continuing. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his statement on his X social media account, stated that the local government was helping those affected by the fire and that he was very sorry.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also announced that he appointed a special team to investigate the incident. While the police announced that the owner of the amusement park was detained, the authorities shared the information that compensation of 12 thousand 400 dollars each would be paid to the families of the victims.
