There is a fire at the Säfsen ski resort in Ludvika. The fire started in the attic of the main building, which contains the restaurant, spa and reception.
The emergency services are on site and working to protect nearby buildings.
– The building cannot be saved. We let it burn down, says Pär Palm, emergency manager at the rescue service, to TV4 Nyheterna.
Skiing is not affected by the fire, which is approximately three kilometers from the fire area, according to Säfsen resort CEO Hans Ericsson.
There are no reports that anyone has been injured. It is still unclear how the fire started, but the police do not suspect any crime at this time.
