Areas adjacent to the hotel are also said to have suffered smoke damage.

The guests could not return

The hotel had 18 rooms and all rooms had to be evacuated in the event of the fire. None of the guests have been able to return to their rooms.

– In connection with the end of the rescue operation, we assisted in retrieving the guests’ belongings, says Larsson on Sunday morning.

An ambulance was on the scene and, according to the emergency services, a person was checked. It is unclear if the person was taken to hospital.
