Fire at an inn in Funäsfjällen

No one is said to have been injured, but parts of the building consisting of several wings have sustained extensive damage.

— A lot of water has been added to suppress the fire. There is both smoke, fire and to some extent also water damage in the building, says Thomas Åslin, officer on duty at the rescue service.

The alarm came in as an automatic fire alarm shortly before midnight on Wednesday night.

— A few minutes later, a call was made that it was a fire with open flames. When we arrived, the outside of the building was burning quite heavily.

Around 30 firefighters from both Sweden and Norway have been working on the extinguishing work, which is expected to continue until Thursday morning.
