There has been a fire at a waste facility in Timrå since eight o’clock on Saturday morning.
A VMA was issued due to the toxic smoke but was lifted on Saturday night.
The extinguishing work took considerably longer than the emergency services first thought when the alarm came earlier today.
This is because there was a fire in various piles of waste that were difficult to put out, states Medelpads Rädningstjänstförbund.
The fire is now out.
