According to an opinion poll, 82 percent of Finns believe that Finland should be prepared to defend other NATO countries in accordance with Article 5 of the NATO Treaty, reports EPN.
In a similar survey in the other NATO countries in 2022, the average support for acting according to Article 5 was only 67 percent.
According to the survey, 61 percent of Finns are against the transport of nuclear weapons over Finnish soil and 77 percent are against the permanent placement of nuclear weapons in Finland.
