Aleksander Barkov returned to real action after a break of three matches effectively. The Panthers skipper was selected to star in the victorious Pittsburgh game.
Four Finnish goal scorers were seen in the round of 12 games of the NHL. The net was waved by Columbus Patrick Laineof Dallas Miro Heiskanen, of Florida Eetu Luostarinen and St. Louis Kasperi Kapanen.
A total of nine Finnish players reached power points in the round. Three Finnish guards were also seen in action.
Hintz’s point streak is already five games long
Dallas took a clear 7–3 victory over Colorado led by Finnish players. Defender Heiskanen was the only Finn to score in the match, who was responsible for Dallas’ 2–0 win. The hit was Heiskanen’s ninth of the season.
Roope Hintz got two assists and Esa Lindell one. Hintz stretched his streak to five games.

The wave succeeded overwhelmingly
Laine managed to score in the second consecutive contest when he narrowed the road game against the Ottawa Senators to 2-4 with a power play. Laine shot accurately into the back top corner in the middle of the second period.
In the end, Columbus lost the match with 2–5 goals.
The goal was Lainee’s 19th of the season. The Finnish star has now scored 42 points from 48 matches of the season.
Barkov returned, Florida won
Florida Panthers cut by Mikael Granlund representing the Pittsburgh Penguins’ four-game winning streak by grabbing a 4–1 home win.
The Panthers captain, who has recovered to play Alexander Barkov was chosen as the second star of the match. The Finnish star, who was sidelined for three matches due to a hand injury, initially scored two goals. Barkov was both by Aaron Ekbald The first pitcher of the 2–0 winning goal and Eetu Luostarinen’s 3–1 hit.
Luostarinen was able to flick the puck into the half-empty goal from the return puck of Barkov’s shot. The goal was the 15th of the season for the Florida striker.
Fighting for a playoff spot, Florida returned to winning ways after one loss.
Kapanen was underpowered
Kasperi Kapanen scored his second goal in a St. Louis Blues jersey with an underpowered drive through. The former Pittsburgh forward scored in an away game against Los Angeles as the Blues suffered a 2-4 loss.
Kapanen leveled the game at 2-2 in the third period with a nice lift into the top corner Joonas Korpisalo. The goal was the Finnish striker’s ninth of the season.
