Finnair does not use Israeli airspace on its flights at the moment.

Finnair says it is canceling all its flights to Tel Aviv due to the situation in Israel. Flights are canceled until the end of the winter season, until March 30, 2024.

Earlier, the company had already announced that it would cancel flights until Saturday, October 14. Finnair does not use Israeli airspace on its flights at the moment.

“Safety is always our top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and following the instructions of the authorities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a travel bulletin in which the ministry urges you to avoid unnecessary travel to Israel,” the company’s in the bulletin let’s tell.

Finnair says that it is in contact by text message and e-mail with those who booked canceled flights, for whom the company is trying to find alternative flights. The release states that the exceptional situation causes congestion and there are limited flights.

If flying is not possible, Finnair’s customer service promises to help you find other travel options.

The Palestinian extremist organization Hamas launched a large surprise attack on Israel on Saturday morning. Israel has declared martial law and called up 300,000 reservists.

Information on the number of people killed in the conflict varies. According to Israel, more than 900 people have been killed in the attack by Hamas. According to the Gaza administration, almost 700 have been killed in Israeli counterattacks.
