Finlands volleyball women crushed Estonia Sports in a nutshell

Finland, which is preparing for the EC qualifiers, convincingly beat Estonia 3–0 in Tallinn.

The Finnish women’s national volleyball team, which is preparing for the European Championship qualifiers, was in great shape on Tuesday when it convincingly beat Estonia 3–0 (25–15, 25–16, 25–18) in the international match played in Tallinn. The teams also played an extra set, where Finland was better 25–13.

Finland continued where it left off the day before, as the teams also played an international match on Monday, which also ended with an easy 3–0 victory for Finland. The head coach Nik Buser was pleased with his protégé’s performances, although he wished that Estonia would have been able to give Finland a tougher resistance.

– We were hoping for tougher games, of course. Estonia was not able to play at its own level in these games. We now gained game experience with certain formations and players, Buser points out in the Volleyball Association’s press release.

Finland opens its career in the European Championship qualifiers on Sunday, when it meets Switzerland in a home match in Turku. Buser knows that the level of demand will rise significantly higher than in the Estonian matches.

– A few more days to prepare. This makes the opponent a lot tougher.
