Verschoor started from P1, but he was unable to keep Lawson behind him. In the tenth lap, the Briton passed Verschoor. In the end, the driver from Benschop crossed the finish line almost eight seconds after Lawson. Third place was for Felipe Drugovich who came in a second after Verschoor. He previously won the World Cup standings.
